Mothering Multiples & Beyond Tea Time w/Kache´ Byrd

00:45 - Welcome back to Tea with Meek and Nique! Today we have a guest! Kaché Byrd is joining us in the studio to share her inspiring story of motherhood, but first, let's start with the tea we’re sipping on. Kaché is enjoying a mango ginger tea, Meka is having a vanilla chai and Nique is on her licorice again with a throat soothing tea with licorice and hibiscus.

 

02:54 - Meek gives Kaché a moment to introduce herself. Mother of 6, wife, daughter of Jesus Christ and a fulltime creator at heart. She shares how she ended up in Greensboro, NC and the story of how she met her husband at our very own NC A&T.

 

09:28 - Kaché continues with how she never thought she would have so many kids based off of how she grew up in Raleigh, NC, what her home life was before kids. We get into Marriage Stats!  

 

14:19 - Meek asks Kaché how she and her husband prioritize time together working around all of the children they’ve had together. How to find time for each other and how the babysitter schedule looks to manage the kids when they’re away. 

 

17:45 - Nique asks how Kaché is able to juggle all of this plus putting herself first in situations and expanding on what it means to be a “creative”. Kaché talks about self-care and self-love. Morning routines and expressing feelings through journaling and writing in general.

 

23:09 - Kaché shares some love for her MomTribe! The women in her life that support and uplift her in motherhood. 

 

25:36 - Meek asks what Kaché is going to be more intentional about in 2020, what she will manifest for herself in her life. Kaché talks about finding parts of herself that she has lost touch with as far as creative passions, having more time for herself, finances and planning for the future.

 

28:12 - Nique asks Kaché to give a roll call of her kids and one gem of wisdom learned in motherhood. Meek introduces a short This or That segment of the show. Kaché answers some questions!
